Meet Jennifer

Jennifer, the founder of Heights Educational Advisors LLC, assists high school students, student-athletes and their parents with navigating the college admissions and college recruiting processes.  Her goal is not simply to help students gain admission to college.  Jennifer is passionate about empowering students and helping them to identify best-fit colleges where they will thrive and be successful.  A former college admissions Alumni-interviewer for Harvard University, Jennifer has had the opportunity to review and evaluate highly competitive college applications.  As a homeschooling parent, she designed curricula, provided assessments, and identified and coordinated extra-curricular activities for her children, as well as, for other families.  Her experience as an admissions interviewer, coupled with years of working in education, has provided Jennifer with significant insights into the college planning and admissions process.

Prior to working in education, Jennifer practiced law as a corporate transactions attorney, counseling clients on strategic and multifaceted deals and intellectual property matters.  She is licensed to practice in the states of California, Florida, and North Carolina and in Washington, D.C.  Jennifer earned a J.D. from the Columbia University School of Law and an A.B., magna cum laude, from Harvard-Radcliffe Colleges.

Jennifer is an associate member of IECA (Independent Educational Consultants Association) and looks forward to advising you and your student in the college admissions process.
